Everywhere Virtually

I left for work today with an almost giddy sense of excitement. Not because of work but because I was travelling on my new F800GS

It’s a pretty standard route to work and portions of it are two lane carriageway. I spotted a black mini up ahead switching lanes and doing the ‘manoeuvre, mirror,signal’ technique. To non drivers/riders that’s the action of ‘switching lanes, looking in the mirror and then thinking, oh shit there are other people on the road other than myself. maybe I should indicate now even though I am already in the other lane.’

Anyway this bimbo up ahead did this 3 times in front of me. I slipped back and observed her crap driving from a safe distance. She preened herself twice in the mirror. The second occassion resulting in her nearly rear ending a van turning left. She was too busy checking if her hair was ok to notice that the van had slowed down without him braking and then indicated a little late.

After weaving around some more and narrowly missing another oncoming car that was turning right in a filter she thought it would be ok to get her mobile out for a chat.

There has to be a more effective way to police morons like this. For some bizarre reason everything else is more important than actually driving the one tonne chunk of metal which can also easily double as a killing machine.
