David Morales Colón, a 22-year-old Puerto Rican man who was shot dead last Thursday has made the headlines after his untimely demise because the funeral directors at Marin Funeral Home in San Juan’s Hato Rey neighborhood have a unique spin on what you would consider a normal wake.

Callers who paid their final respects to the late Mr. Colón were surprised to see Mr. Colón’s corpse, dressed casually and wearing shades, atop his Repsol Honda CBR600. According to Puerto Rico’s Primera Hora newspaper, the motorcycle was given to the victim by his uncle. Family members delivered the bike to the funeral home specifically for this unusual wake.

Think I’m making this stuff up then checkout the original link. This is not a one off either, the same funeral home did a similar setup last year with another young man who was the last man standing in his mothers living room during the multi day wake. You’ve got to give it to the funeral home they definitely score points for originality!
